Project manager / Lab manager

As a lab manager, I am responsible for the laboratories, climate rooms and all supplies needed for the experiments that are being performed. With my experience in chemical and (molecular) biological laboratories, I make the laboratories a smoothly operating workplace. This means keeping the laboratories organized to protect the safety of all users, guarantee the quality of experiments performed and optimize planning of experiments by having the materials available, when and where they are needed.

As a project manager in an NWO-funded project (Self Defense: Mimicking Natural deterrent strategies in plants using adhesive spheres and volatiles), I am responsible for the organization of  meetings, the overview data management and reporting, and  to make sure that deadlines are met.
